In cooperation with external tax consultants, she offers a competent point of contact for all tax law issues relating to real estate transactions as well as for inheritance and property law matters.
In addition to her notarial work in the areas of real estate law, matrimonial property law, inheritance law and corporate law, she focuses in particular on drafting, negotiating and reviewing complex contracts (including orders, purchase contract and work and service contracts).
Her clients include public and private builders, architects, engineers, companies and private individuals. She also advises national and international companies on corporate transactions.

Jan Bloch advises and represents companies and private individuals in the national and international environment, primarily in the areas of corporate, contract and commercial law. As a lawyer and notary, he has extensive experience in setting up, restructuring or reorganizing companies and supports his clients in all legal and notarial matters.
His other areas of activity, due to his professional background, include providing land registry and building law support and advice for private individuals, investors and construction companies on real estate projects of all kinds. He also certifies all transactions relating to real estate in the canton of Basel-Landschaft.
In addition to his work as a lawyer and notary, Jan Bloch is a permanent member of the Real Estate Commission of the UWP Collective Foundation for Occupational Pensions.

Melissa Nussberger assists in all matters (notary and legal) and manages the administrative tasks at Cron Bloch. As a native English speaker who also speaks German, she is able to translate all documents and contracts into English, making her an asset to our English-speaking clients.
Melissa Nussberger was born and raised in Philadelphia (USA) and has lived in Basel since 2013. She holds a bachelor's degree in visual communication (Communication Arts) from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. Outside of work, she devotes herself to photography and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
